Diversity of Living Things!
Lesson Overview: Students will gain knowledge and understanding on the various trophic levels and will be able to interpret the consequences to the ecosystem when a certain species population increases or decreases. Students will also be able to predict the consequences to the ecosystem when the shark population decreases.
Hook: Students will play a game, coded by myself in with the Scratch program, that analyses the risks of human intervention to the biodiversity of aquatic ecosystems.Players will move the shark with the mouse to catch the fish but attempt to avoid the divers!
